Former Ring of Honor (ROH) World Champion Samoa Joe has received a new championship belt for his reign as the ROH World Television Champion. The announcement was made on the official ROH website.
The new belt features a black strap with gold plates and red accents, similar to the design of the previous version of the belt. However, the new belt also includes updated side plates featuring the ROH logo and the words "World Television Champion."

Joe won the title at the ROH 19th Anniversary pay-per-view event in March 2021, defeating Dragon Lee in a hard-fought match. He has since defended the title against challengers such as Tracy Williams and Rhett Titus.
ROH has a long history of prestigious championships, including the ROH World Championship, the ROH World Tag Team Championship, and the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship. The World Television Championship was introduced in 2010 and has been held by notable wrestlers such as Jay Lethal, Tomohiro Ishii, and Jeff Cobb.
Samoa Joe is widely regarded as one of the greatest wrestlers of his generation, having competed in top promotions such as WWE, TNA/Impact Wrestling, and NJPW. He first rose to prominence in ROH in the early 2000s, where he had memorable feuds with the likes of CM Punk and Bryan Danielson.
The new ROH World Television Championship belt is a fitting tribute to Samoa Joe's legacy in professional wrestling and his current reign as one of the top champions in ROH.
