On SmackDown this week, Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles after defeating Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn, the former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions.
The match was hard-fought, but in the end, Rousey and Baszler gained a double submission on their opponents to secure the victory.
The win comes after WWE brought the NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions to the main roster for a unification match. Rousey and Baszler had previously held the NXT titles and did not relinquish them upon moving up to the main roster.

Liv Morgan Returns During WWE SmackDown
During this week's episode of SmackDown, Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler won the WWE Unified Women’s Tag Team Titles after defeating Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn, the NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions. However, their time in the ring wasn't over yet.
Raquel Rodriguez was sitting ringside during the match and caught Rousey's attention when she started to leave.
When asked why she was there, Rodriguez responded that she was there to win back the titles "we never lost." This prompted Liv Morgan's return to the ring.
The new Unified WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions quickly left the ring as Morgan made her way down the ramp.
It seems that Morgan and a partner will be the first challengers for Rousey and Baszler's newly-won titles.
