The show starts with an intro video.
A cameraman meets a gorilla where Seth Rollins and Matt Riddle are fighting! The road agent and referee splash from behind to break them!
Back in the ringside area, in the crowd, on the balcony, trading only right hands with abandon!
Fighting back towards the ring, Riddle with a crossbody from the barricade and back at ringside!
Commentary is hyped on tonight's show.
Trish Stratus makes her entrance and gets on the mic.
She says it feels great to be here, at home, and she's not just talking about Toronto, but in this ring, between these ropes, and it will always feel like home here. She's been thinking a lot lately-
Enter Bailey as usual with Dakota Kai and Io Skye, and we go for a break.
Back from commercial, Bayley gets on the mic.
She talks about being in the ring with Trish freakin Stratus and the three of them finger Trish before Bayley asks what she's doing here. Trish says that Edge vs Damien Priest, the latter is a great deal matchup, and she's here to offer her fellow Torotonians a little support.
And she had something to say next—which prompts Dakota to tell her that no one cares what she has to say, and Bailey says Stratus has been on her all weekend and it's her ring and her show. and she is the past, so who the hell is she what she thinks she is?
Enter Bianca Belair.
She says that Bailey isn't even in the same stratosphere, and Trish goes so they can all run, so she needs to thank him and stop being abusive.
But she can defend herself, and Stratus says she can go from "I'm retired" to "I'm retired" if she doesn't stop moving her mouth.
Alexa Bliss & Asuka vs Dakota Kai & Io Skye (WWE Women's Tag Team Championship Tournament Semifinals)
Tag Kai, duck down, while Asuka and Skye start, circling! Dakota with a collar and elbows, scissors to the head, headlock takeover, Asuka goes for the hold on the mat and meets her with a kick.
Whipped across, Kai falls to the floor and regroups while Asuka taunts him for being a chicken.
Referee Eddie Orengo reaches eight before breaking the count, Asuka with a hip attack, a dropkick from Bliss to clear the apron and we go for the break.
